Innovative Ideas Day

 

This year an award of 300,00€ will be assigned to the best innovative idea among those selected for the presentation at the school.

Registration to the SatNEx Summer School is mandatory for the acceptance of
the submission!

The “Innovative Ideas” Presentation Form should be sent in electronic format to the School Secretariat Mrs Daniela Falconetti & to the School Organizer Dr. Erina Ferro.

June 01, 2008: deadline for receiving the submissions.

June  30, 2008: deadline for the notification of acceptance to present the idea at the school on Friday August 1, 2008.

All the received "innovative ideas" will be collected in a book and distributed as a part of the material of the school.

The format for Presenting the “Innovative Idea” should address the following points:

1. Title of the Idea
2. Scope of the activity [5 lines max]
3. In collaboration with [other Institutions collaborating, if any]
4. Description of the idea and position with respect to other related works [2 pages max]
5. Innovation aspects [half a page max]
6. Expected results [half a page max]
7. Possible industrial impact [5 lines max]
8. Current status of the activity [5 lines max](*)
   

(*) work in progress (status of the art), or simple idea, whose realization has not yet started. In both cases, all the other points must be filled.

!!!!!!!!!! IMPORTANT NOTES !!!!!!!!!!

1. The idea description must be written in times 12, double line spacing; possible figures and references must be included in the maximum allowable.
2. Maximum allowable must be not exceeded. Description exceeding the requested guide-lines will be not considered.
3. Description must be in simple and clear form. Full papers are not accepted.
4. The activity may be strictly related to the satellites’ field or in some way related to it. Satellite aspect must be in any case an important aspect of the activity.
